Meet Bishan: Background & Early Struggles

Bishan is a 24-year-old entrepreneur from Hyderabad. He started working as early as 16 years old, taking up jobs just to support his education. At one point, he worked in an MNC customer service role for a short period only to pay his degree fees.

Later, he dropped out of college and pursued fashion and wedding photography, but the business did not grow the way he expected. Coming from a humble background with little external support, Bishan faced years of financial struggle and felt completely stuck.

He reached a point where he asked himself a tough question:
“Why am I still using old methods when the world has moved on?”

Discovering E-commerce & Cutting Out the Noise

In late 2023, Bishan made a conscious decision to retrain his YouTube algorithm. He removed all entertainment and irrelevant content and forced his feed to show only business-related videos.

That’s when he came across Ecom Edge content in early September. Unlike most viewers, Bishan didn’t just watch passively. He grabbed a notebook, took notes, and began studying the content seriously.

However, instead of jumping blindly into execution, he focused on learning how to learn — understanding systems before taking action.

Why Bishan Joined the Ecom Edge Accelerator

Unlike many beginners, Bishan didn’t try random dropshipping experiments before joining the program. He deliberately chose not to start on his own.

His reasoning was simple:

  • YouTube is full of conflicting advice
  • Too many people teach 30 different ways
  • Mixing methods only creates confusion and delays results

Bishan believed that following one structured system from a credible source would save him months — if not years — of wasted effort.

He joined the Ecom Edge Accelerator on January 2, with a clear intention: learn properly first, then execute.

Mindset Shifts That Changed Everything

One of the biggest transformations Bishan experienced was in mindset.

Even before joining, he had started working on controlling his thoughts and focus. But the program helped him refine this further, especially through:

  • Weekly mentorship calls
  • Strong emphasis on 80/20 principle (Pareto Principle)
  • Focus on revenue-generating tasks, not perfection

Instead of worrying about perfect Shopify design or fancy ads, Bishan learned to focus on what actually moves the needle.

“Once I understood what the real 20% is, my speed increased massively.”

Overcoming Meta Bans with the Zuck Method

Like most e-commerce beginners, Bishan faced repeated Meta Business Manager and ad account bans — not once, but multiple times.

Instead of quitting, he relied on the Zak Method, a simplified Facebook ads system taught inside the program. By revisiting the process, taking detailed notes, and following the framework step-by-step, he was able to recover and move forward.

Bishan highlights that the biggest advantage of the Zak Method is its simplicity — complex ad strategies broken down so even beginners can execute confidently.

The Power of Community Learning

One of the strongest themes in Bishan’s journey is the community.

Instead of asking repetitive or surface-level questions, Bishan:

  • Used the community search feature extensively
  • Read answers from others’ past questions
  • Took handwritten notes
  • Implemented solutions before asking again

This habit helped him move faster than most beginners. He believes that asking the right questions — after doing your own research — is a massive competitive advantage.

“One good question can change your entire direction.”

He also replaced social media scrolling with time spent inside the learning community, which directly contributed to better decision-making and faster growth.

Scaling to ₹3 Lakhs a Day (and What’s Next)

Within three months, Bishan scaled his store to 300+ orders per day and nearly ₹3 lakhs daily revenue.

His next goal is clear:

  • Scale to ₹10 lakhs per day
  • Transition to a private supplier
  • Build systems that support higher order volumes

He understands that operating at scale brings new challenges — operational, advertising, and supply chain — and wants to master those step by step.

Advice for Beginners

Bishan’s core advice for anyone starting e-commerce:

  • Follow one system, not ten
  • Stop chasing random YouTube strategies
  • Respect your time and others’ time
  • Focus on learning deeply, not quickly
  • Spend time where the ROI is positive

According to him, consistency, discipline, and asking smart questions matter far more than talent or background.

Final Thoughts

Bishan’s story proves that success in e-commerce is not about shortcuts. It’s about clarity, mindset, systems, and execution. With the right guidance and environment, even someone starting from zero can build a scalable, profitable business.

This is not the end of his journey — and we’ll definitely be seeing him again when he hits the ₹10 lakhs per day milestone.
